Aloha Jerry,

I just listened to this show and it's great! Yet another awesome job with this podcast.

Mana is a really cool subject and each contributor shined a different light on it. The production quality is really great too, and the pacing of it gave me the feeling I get when I'm sitting in a room with my friends sharing stories one at a time. It has a reallly cool round-table vibe.

And, Go Alister! Man, that guy lights it up. I think I've read his posts, but it's a totally different...mana...to hear him.

Anyway, this post reads like a guy totally fired up and that's how I'm feeling, I guess.

Here's an experiment you can do to quantify the impact:
Write up a little something about mana before you listen to the show.
    Then listen to the show.
Then write up something again about mana after you listened to the show.
Pay attention to not only content but tone as well.

I'm looking forward to reading how everyone responded.

An Aloha boom to you all!,
Fib (on fire ;)

i am not sure which threaf to post replies on
I am only half way through the Podcast but I already enjoy it

I was listing to Wyny's story how she was describing her feet and thinking wow awesome feet for tai kwon do or soccer ( I have taking tai kwon do and used to spar a lot) but she was describing them in the negative and I understood the power of perception I like how wyny went about fixing her problem though maybe it will work on some things i need to " fix'

I enjoyed your affirmations a lot jerry I plan on figuring out a way to splice that part and adding to part of another meditation and make it the last thing I do before bed or first thing when i wake up.

I liked Alistors voice he sounded like a sports coach you can almost see us in a long distance virtual huddle

I was part way through fibs story when I came to work I will comment when i get home tonight

You got it right- this one. Each show has two threads- one for pre-production, and one for comments after the show has been posted. After I post a particular show, I will "freeze" the pre-production discussion, so you wouldn't be able to post there if you tried.

Thanks again for your support!

Jerry

Jerry,
Thank you for your willingness to continue the podcasts. I appreciate and enjoy both the content of the 'casts and their structure. Hearing all the voices brings the ku-mmunity to life and into an intimacy I haven't expected.

From his website Paul Waters wrote:
Quote:
To build this inner authority and confidence, practice being confident. Remember a time in your life when you were absolutely sure about something. Perhaps it was the answer to a test question, directions to a friend's home, or the confidence you have in driving a car. Notice how this makes your body feel. The more you feel confident that you can do something, the easier it will be to do. You may also try visualizing yourself in a certain situation (such as athletes will see themselves winning), and give your body the feeling of a desired result.

From my Aikido training I've learned to attend to the feelings, the sensations, that come through my body. From them I have learned how to recognize where I am accepting authority, to put it into the language of Huna. I've learned that the place I want to listen to speaks "up from underneath" rather than "in my head". I can also feel the tension in my body that tells me where there is no flow, so that when I focus on it and clear the resistance, I can feel the change.

Connecting physical sensation with the deeper implications of MANA is the next step in my practice.

One thing I've started experiencing is confidence. This is new for me. Having the connection drawn between "All power flows from within" and the feeling of confidence is a lightbulb moment! I'm in the last stages of studying electronics, a field and way of processing information that is not fluid for me. This is the world in which I am experiencing confidence. It is also the world in which I expected to discover more about spiritual technology. Starting here, unifying confidence, electron flow and MANA, I'm looking forward...

Hmm... I posted it in the KPN (Ku'mmunity Podcast Network forum), so if you are subscribed to that feed, you should have gotten it. I worked for me just fine, and I haven't heard of any other problems. If you're not sure about how to subscribe to that feed, you can find out about it here. If you are already subscribed, I don't know what's up... You can also just download the show directly by clicking the link above.

Good luck. Let me know how it goes.

Jerry

You're most welcome! I'm glad that you like the way things are set up. It's pretty logical, I guess, and has naturally evolved. I agree that the best part is hearing each other's voices! How about adding your voice? :-) We can always use more imput from new people. The next show is on Pono; what's that one all about for you? Do you have any story you can relate about it? If so, please add your thoughts here, or contact me directly. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Another timely and wonderful lesson , Jerry. I can’t help but wonder if these seven huna principles are arranged in stages. These lessons seem to be speaking to me specifically. How is that possible? Maybe it’s because the Huna principles are arranged in such a way that they mirror how a person grows into them and integrates them into their lives. That’s how I see it. It sure seems to be working! Thank you, Jerry, and all who contributed to the show.

Thanks, Book! I'm glad you liked it. I agree with you that the 7 principles are chosen and arranged in a special order. I think they speak to all of us because they are universal.

Hope to hear from you soon. The deadline for submissions for the Pono show is Sunday, March 11th. Can you contribute something?

Jerry

I think I can, Jerry. Something about having flexiblity with expectations. I was thinking it might fit in with the Pono exercise in the SKK reading thread.

Sweeeeeeet! I hope you can get something to me by Sunday. If not, let me know, and I'll wait for you. I'm really excited by all the folks who are part of that Pono exercise contributing their tales. This will make a very unique and interesting segment.

Jerry

Hi Jerry,

great job, well done! :P
I really love your Mana podcast. And you hooked up to Fand for that difficult word I sent! Brilliant! A very special thank you for all the time and effort you put into this. I have been able to find a nice job & apartment in the new town in the meantime, so after settling in, I will log on more often.
Looking forward to PONO... If I can think of something until Sunday I'll send it to you.

Aloha!

Fanny

Thanks, Fanny. A quick word from you would be most welcomed! You know, Pono is all about "results". Seems like you come into some good results lately with your move and all. How did your Huna studies play a part in all these recent life changes?

Jerry
