Jerry -- this was just wonderful. Not only deepened my understanding of Kala -- but deepened my feeling of connection to the Ku'mmunity as well.
I was initially concerned about the length -- but the time flew. Immediately engaging -- and there was just so much variety ! Your thoughts, Po', outside source material, music, the Ohana -- this one truly had it all.
Some things to "call out" from my perspective:
I just love that you are able to include the actual voices of Board members -- and what a delight to finally "hear" Sami G. All of the experiences shared were so different -- and so real. Like we were sitting together in your living room -- telling stories. Wonderful !
When I first heard the "Petra" chant I remembered you had asked us for this recording. Totally forgot until then. And yet -- for me -- having this piece be only Petra and Ku 'el was just so right. My two Huna "big brothers" -- although I would guess that I'm older than both -- chanting together. Just perfect !
Thank you so much for including your own Kala story. It recaptured a very special time on the board -- our very first "coming together" as one-heart. Having also been the recipient of our global family connection in a time of crisis -- I really could relate to its impact. And while I never lose sight of how extraordinarily special all of this is -- having it brought so vividly to life was incredibly touching. Mahalo for the gift.
And last -- I'm not sure this was deliberate -- but the Costlow music you chose to lay under the reading you did of one of my posts (during your Kala story) was the exact same piece I used in my very first podcast. (Not Alone) My eyes filled when I heard it. If it was purposely done -- what a really neat way to demonstrate that "everything is connected." And if not -- well, I guess it's STILL a really neat way to show that.
Hugs from here -- Satsuma

Jerry – wow! Thank you for a quite beautiful podcast.
It had a wonderful narrative - really compelling – and, as Satsuma says, there was so much variety from the opening moment, right until the closing quote at the end of Suzanne Teng’s magical ‘Breath of Love’.
I felt really inspired hearing the voices of our Ku’mmunity and although I was hesitant about contributing myself at first, I’m so glad I did and I hope more folks will join in, whether they are Huna novices like me, or pillars of the Ku’mmunity. It’s just fun learning with each other.
I loved how the contributors’ stories highlighted different aspects of Kala - brilliant. Petra and Ku’el’s chant was so thoughtfully pieced together. I also enjoyed your inclusion of Serge’s meditation on the Zen koan relating to “one hand clapping”. It was an eloquent reminder of how we can change the world by changing ourselves - wisdom that is immediately applicable.
Thank you also for making the connections back to Pohaku’s teachings and earlier podcasts because, as Po’ said in his last show, its amazing how you hear something new every time you listen to them.
Petra mentioned on another thread how you can pass by the answers you are searching for and then suddenly discover them when you are ready to “hear” or “see” them - and that’s so true! For me, Huna Trainer show #59 (‘There are no limits’) was an example of this – I had listened to it a couple of times but still missed so much and your podcast prompted me to revisit it again. It seems even these podcasts have no limits! :)
Adding your own story was the perfect way to conclude the show. What a wonderful gift you have given us all and I hope the gift is returned to you many times over.
By the way, posting the links was really useful too – I love all the music and I’ll definitely be checking out the BBC’s Brief History of Infinity!
Please keep up the wonderful work and we shall continue to share in its creation.
With deepest gratitude and many blessings, always, SamiG.

Thanks Satsuma and SamiG for your kind feedback! I'm really happy that someone has appreciated the show.
Quote: I was initially concerned about the length -- but the time flew. Immediately engaging -- and there was just so much variety ! Your thoughts, Po', outside source material, music, the Ohana -- this one truly had it all. Yes, I totally agree. I was worried that it got too long, but in the end, it worked out because of the variety. There was a thread through all of it, and one part led to the next. Each person's contribution immeasurably improved things. It really was a "whole is greater than the sum of its parts" thing in action. I enjoy this aspect more than any other, so I'm motivated to keep reaching out to people for contributions. I realize it's "one more thing to do" for people in an already busy life, but taking time to review these principles slowly and carefully is time well spent. I'm so happy to recieve and pass on whatever comes my way. Being able to hear each other adds an entirely new dimention to our interaction on this board. I really hope that each of you can continue with your contributions- you are both very articulate and creative, and it's always a pleasure to hear from you. Our next topic is Makia- what do you think about that? Take care, Jerry Quote: And last -- I'm not sure this was deliberate -- but the Costlow music you chose to lay under the reading you did of one of my posts (during your Kala story) was the exact same piece I used in my very first podcast. (Not Alone) My eyes filled when I heard it. If it was purposely done -- what a really neat way to demonstrate that "everything is connected." No, I didn't choose this tune deliberately- it was just a happy "coincidence". Ususally the title of a song doesn't really matter, but in this case it all worked together perfectly- the tone, feeling, and title matched precisely to what I needed in that moment. I love when this happens. Music is the "magic ingredient" that brings everything to a new level. I love adding it to the show's mix!

Hey, nice poem, Silverdeer! It fits right in with Kala, but also with Makia as well. I think we could use this on the next show.
Thanks everyone for your positive feedback. It's great!
Pohaku, the trip started today! I can just imagine what great, exciting times you are all having. I hope we can see some pictures and hear some stories. I'm looking forward to having HunaTraining placed in the main feed, and with getting a WordPress blog started up. Let me know what I have to do.
Have a great time!
Jerry

I hope you are thinking of doing more shows like this on all the other huna principles? Looking forward to Makia!

Aloha Jerry,
Love the shows! Thanks. It's really great to hear recaps of the basic Huna principles from Po's shows and to hear them from an educator's point of view. It's also great to hear the interviews, testimonials and quotes with and from our treasured Kummunity members, Serge King quotes, Steve Pavlina speaking on consciousness and his perspective of creating your own reality, and the really cool pod safe ambient music mixed in through the shows.
Your very practical HunaTraining show has been very helpful for me during this busy period in my life and it is helping me to refocus on the Huna principles that have helped me to transform my life in a magical way. Please keep 'em comin.'
Peace and light,
Dave

Quote: I hope you are thinking of doing more shows like this on all the other huna principles? Yes, Fanny- that's the plan. We are in the midst of going through each of the seven main principles of Huna, so you can look forward to that. After that, I have this idea to move on to cover the other Huna fundamentals- the 3 selves, the 4 levels of reality, Aka, Mana, the various guided meditations, etc. In the end, the entire spectrum will be reviewed. Quote: It's really great to hear recaps of the basic Huna principles from Po's shows and to hear them from an educator's point of view. Thanks, Dave. I'm glad you find it useful! I just try to approach the subject in the way I know how. Quote: It's also great to hear the interviews, testimonials and quotes with and from our treasured Kummunity members
Yes! This is my favorite part. I've said it before, and it bears repeating: each time even one person submits their thoughts, whether by text or voice, they immeasurably improve the overall quality of the recording. I like to think of it as "the whole is greate than the sum of its parts" in action. It's quite helpful for me to be listening and taking in all of your viewpoints, and it makes me feel more connected. I know if I feel that way, then so must other people. So, keep it coming everyone! I hope you can get used to and comfortable with sharing your thoughts with regularity. Remember- people will be listening to these recordings in the future, so any insights you can give now will really pay off for someone on down the road!
I'll use this point to remind everyone of the submission deadline for show #4: Saturday, December 2nd. If you have anything to share, I'd really like it by then. HOWEVER, I can be flexible on this, so if you really need more time, contact me directly and we can work it out.
Jerry
